Yes mom I really do eat breathe and sleep Parkour
Over the past year of training I thought I was doing an excellent job of bringing my game up and stepping up to the plate. Honestly though after thinking about it I realize that I only posses a small amount of understanding to what Parkour really is. There is more to it then running up walls or vaulting over things. Over the next few weeks It will be my job to train hard (starting tomorrow) and try to gain more of an understanding to what the sport really means. Every time I train I'll post any thoughts or findings! Wish me luck and have fun with your own training!

Mall Parkour
It does me good to see kids at a young age enjoy the benefits of Parkour. One being the increased strength, two, is the flexibility and 3, well you just look like a ninja. Anyway at the mall today there were some kids maybe 8 or 9 practicing Parkour in the play area. Doing cartwheels, jumping from block to block and just having a good time. It's great that kids that age are finding the sport enjoyable. I can only hope that in the future we raise a generation of kids that love and appreciate the sport just as I do.

YAY! I love to see Parkour done the "right way". Parkour is not about escaping the cops or out running the guy whos wallet you just stole. Parkour is about bettering yourself and meeting new people. I have BUCKETS of respect for these guys

I hate Parkour?????????? I never thought I would hear this come out of someone!
How is this even possible? Well after reading this guys article I learned that he hates the sport because people get hurt. He says if he ever sees his child doing anything close to Parkour he will cut his legs off. "If I ever catch my child participating in anything that remotely resembles Parkour or “free running” I am going straight to the nearest antique tool dealer, buying the largest, rustiest pre-civil war saw they own, driving back home and cutting his feet off." Picture and quote used from youjustmademylist.com
I don't understand what the big problem is. Parkour is only dangerous if your not smart about it! Yes there are freak accidents but you could break a bone just by walking down the stairs! Lets not be to angry though! People are allowed to have their own opinions. Even if they arn't backed up :p

Uhh wait hold the phone.... you want to ban movement?
I never thought I would hear this! I had heard of a rumor that Parkour was banned in N.Y.C's Battery Park. Being the crazy Parkour traceur that I am I had to check this out. After further investigation I learned that Parkour in its name has not been banned, but other traceurs have been being disrespectful when they are told to stop. You can get the full scoop here
